Marketing communication through fashion blog

The bachelor thesis studies the usage of fashion blogs in the marketing communication. It brings the view of the fact how fashion blogs are perceived by their readers and how readers are influenced by fashion blogs. The theoretical part of the thesis describes marketing communication, communication process, communication mix and online marketing. It is followed by characteristics of blogs and social networks. The practical part is dealt with the description of how my own fashion blog works and with its advertising on social networks. In the conclusion the questionnaire survey was used to identify the public opinion on fashion blogs and their influence on readers. The thesis is finalised by recommendations dedicated to fashion bloggers and are based on my own experience with fashion blogging.

(Attachements: 13 files) The diploma thesis bears character of a reflective study, based on the principles of participative research, research by A/R/Tography method and pedagogical action research according to the methodology of Marie Fulková. With respect to the results of a previous bachelor thesis, the author turns attention to the subject of re-design as a possible solution to diverse intricacies occuring in school environment. The author also looks critically at contemporary DIY methods often used in arts education. The thesis also describes a re-design of a clothing artifact "Dinosaurs", an original work by the author, and reflections on realized didactic complexes, that are thematically bounded by the diploma thesis' assignment and elaboration. The aim of the diploma thesis is to map issues of re-design with focus to apparel, its didactic transformation and verification of practical functionality of the resulting didactic complex.
Fashion blogs as a new trend in online journalism and their influence on readers

The main focus of the thesis is to describe the phenomenon of fashion blogs as a specific style of online writing and to analyse its influence on readers in relation to printed fashion magazines. The theoretic part describes an evolution of online media since the beginnings of Web, also in the context of generational change. It focuses on the Generation Y and its relation to online media. Furthermore, it describes internet media and internet journalism and their current tendencies. The next part defines blogs in general and contains a brief history of the phenomenon, their comparison with traditional journalistic values and finally on fashion blogs themselves. Fashion blogs are perceived as a part of modern visual culture, which is closely connected to the evolution of fashion blogs, and as a sign of societal trends of narcissism and individualism. The thesis compares the influence and the meaning of fashion blogs in comparison with printed fashion magazines. The analytical part uses a quantitative research and analyses the readers' view on both fashion blogs and the printed fashion magazines. It focuses on the readers' perception of the fashion blog content, especially text and image, and compares it with the perception of fashion magazines. The use of audiovisual work for a promotion of fashion blogger and her brand on the Internet

This bachelor thesis deals with options of using audiovisual work for a promotion of fashion blogger and her brand. The first chapter of the theoretical part is summarizing important pieces of knowledge about blogging and social networks. The second chapter is dedicated to audiovisual work, its production chain and distribution of videos on the Internet. There is an analysis of Czech and world's fashion blogs in the beginning of the practical part to find out what are the actual trends in the fashion industry. The practical part describes the process of creating videos for the blog of a fashion designer. In the end it also evaluates the impact of videos on success of the fashion blog.

Bachelor thesis is focused on exploring promotion of brands and companies on specific Czech fashion blogs. At the same time investigates the reaction of readers and awareness on the promotion of blogs and its actual impact on these readers. The theoretical part contains information about marketing, communication process, forms of communication, communication and communication mix on the internet. Further information in this section is about social networks and their use in business, the characteristics of a blog, the blog history, whether abroad or in the Czech Republic. The practical part presents the analysis of co-operation brands with specific Czech fashion bloggers and results of a questionnaire survey among the readers.
The use of social sites in the fashion industry the role of fashion bloggers and marketing trends in 21st century

World as known in the 21st century is influenced by modern technologies, social sites are counted as one of them. If a fashion company wants to succeed in the globalized world, in which thanks to the Internet everything is affordable, this company has to build a positive relationship with its customers. One way how to do it is using correct marketing strategies and tools. This can be done in cooperation with fashion bloggers. They are building a big influence on their social sites profiles, reaching millions of followers from all over the world. This diploma thesis conducts a survey on this topic while describing one of each tool of fashion blogs and also principles of the fashion industry. Later on these findings are deepen by studying how the best international and Czech fashion blogs work in the reality. The end also covers a different point of view - experiences of a fashion company.
